The client's own coordinates put Improved Serpent Sting off the talent grid in this build, and its point counts for the rows below leave it out, so it stays out until Blizzard places it. Talent names, descriptions and icons belong to Blizzard Entertainment.
Pick a class, then click a talent to put a point in it and right-click to take one out. Each row of a tree opens once you have spent enough points in that tree, and a talent with an arrow above it needs the talent it points from first. The counter keeps track of what you have left and the level a character needs to have spent that many points.
Reading the trees
The trees work the way they did in the original game. A class has three trees, points go in one at a time, and the second row of a tree opens at 5 points, the third at 10, and so on to the last row at 30. Taking a point back out is only allowed when the points below it still have enough support, which the calculator checks for you.
Hover a talent, or tap it on a phone, to read what each rank does. The wording and the numbers are the client's own for the build named under the trees. Where a number depends on your gear, such as spell power or attack power, the tooltip shows the base value and says so.
Sharing and saving
The address in your browser's bar is always the current build, so you can bookmark it or paste it anywhere. Share link copies it for you, and Copy as text gives you a plain list of every talent and rank that you can paste into a chat. Your last build for each class is also kept in this browser until you clear it.
What this page will not do
It will not tell you which build is best. It shows what the beta client offers, checked against that client rather than against guides, and it leaves the judgement to you. Common questions
How many talent points do you get in World of Warcraft: Forever?
51. The beta client hands out one talent point per level from level 10 to level 60, so a level 60 character has 51 points to spend across a class's three trees. This calculator counts them the same way and tells you the level a build needs.
Which classes does the calculator cover?
All nine classes in the Forever beta: Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock and Warrior. Each has three talent trees with the same rows and point gates the client uses.
How do I share a build?
Spend your points, then press Share link. The link is copied to your clipboard and it holds the whole build, so anyone who opens it sees the same class and the same points. The address bar updates as you click too, so you can also copy it from there.
Where does the talent data come from?
From the World of Warcraft: Forever beta client itself. We read the client's talent tables as published by the wago.tools data mirror, and the page says which build it was read from and on which date. Beta numbers change between builds, so we re-read the data at least every 14 days.
What does the new tag mean?
A talent tagged new is not in the Classic Era talent trees for that class under that name. Most of these are brand new to Forever. A few are older talents that Blizzard renamed or moved, because the tag only compares names.
Why does a talent say a number is unknown?
Blizzard's own text for that talent points at a spell the beta build does not contain, so there is no number to show. We print a question mark rather than guess, and the note on the talent says so.
