- Pick a race above the grid, or click its name, to jump to its faction, classes and racial traits.
- Traits show the client's own wording. Passive ones always work; active ones you use.
- Class versions. A trait that differs by class lists each version with the classes it covers.

Common questions
Which races can you play in World of Warcraft: Forever?
The beta client's own tables, build 1.60.1.70009, list 10 playable races. Alliance: Human, Dwarf, Night Elf, Gnome and High Order Skyborne. Horde: Orc, Undead, Tauren, Troll and Windshaper Skyborne. New since Classic Era by name: High Order Skyborne and Windshaper Skyborne. Pick one on this page for its classes and racial traits.
Which race and class combinations are new in Forever?
By name, 16 of the 56 pairs in the beta client's tables are not in Classic Era's. Among the races Classic Era already had, the new ones are Human Hunter, Dwarf Shaman, Gnome Priest, Orc Mage, Undead Paladin and Troll Warlock. The other 10 belong to the new races. Classic Era pairs the beta client's table does not carry: none.
What racial traits does each race get in Forever?
Each race has its own set, 40 traits in all. The page shows each one in the client's own words, with numbers for a level 60 character. It also says whether a trait is passive or one you use. Traits that differ by class list every version: Eureka!, Expansive Mind and Touch of the Grave.
How are the racial traits checked?
Every trait comes from the beta client's own racial lines. We also check each name against Blizzard's posts on races and on the Skyborne. A trait counts as confirmed only when both name it, and 40 of 40 do. A trait only the client carries is tagged on the page. Names only Blizzard's posts give: none.
Where does the race and class data come from?
From the World of Warcraft: Forever beta client itself, through the wago.tools mirror of its database tables. This page shows build 1.60.1.70009. Beta data changes between builds, so we read it again at least every 14 days, and the page says when it was last read.
